You can create and restore image for recovery. A bootable flash memory drive can also be created. But you can't add some files or folders to the flash memory drive using Advanced option unlike CD/DVD.

Paragon Drive Backup 8.5 Special Edition

I installed this version 8.5 Build 1681 SE 29/3/2007 from the CD of Personal Computer World December 2007 on Acer Extensa 4620Z. This allows me to create an image of Windows XP installation with all drivers, empowering utilities and software as well as a recovery bootable DVD. On booting the recovery DVD, it will show version 8.05.008.3081.

Paragon Hard Disk Manager 8.0 SE

I installed this software from the DVD of Australian APC Magazine February 2008 on Windows XP SP2. Windows Vista is only supported on version 8.5.
It can create and restore images for recovery. Also, it can create, resize, format, delete, merge, undelete and copy partitions. In addition, it can redistribute free space. Disk wiper is supposed to be included but not shown anywhere in the software. A bootable CD can be created to perform all the above functions without installing but the disk wiper is not functioning.
