You can download the latest portable edition now. Before upgrading to this version, remember to backup your bookmarks and copy all your extensions if any.

In old browser, select Bookmarks -> Organize Bookmarks -> Import and Backup -> Backup

In new browser, select Bookmarks -> Organize Bookmarks -> Import and Backup -> Restore -> Choose File

Copy the contents of the following to the new browser location : \FirefoxPortable\Data\profile\extensions
