After installing Mozilla Firefox 3 yesterday, AVG Safe Search 8.0 and AVG Security Toolbar are not functioning because they are not compatible with Firefox 3.My current AVG Internet Security version is 8.0.93 and according to LinkScanner, the add-ons are only supported from 8.0.125 which was released on 15 June 2008.
It seems strange that even though AVG 8 is configured to update automatically every 4 hours and the last update is this morning, the latest version was not installed. You have to manually download the latest version and install. After a reboot, AVG Safe Search 8.0 and AVG Security Toolbar are now functioning in Firefox 3.
